A Plex share is when we have our own Plex server and we invite paying customers to it. You are a guest on our server.
- We own and run the server. We look after it, keep it up to date and choose what is on it.
- You control your own Plex account and what you watch. Your watch history and settings belong to your own account.
- You do not control the server. You cannot change its libraries or settings, and you cannot invite other people to it.
How you get in
After you pay, Plex sends an invite to the email you gave. You accept it in your own Plex account. See Get started with Plex.
Not the same as a Plex AppBox
With a Plex AppBox we host a full Plex server for you, and you claim it and own it.
