Before you join

Straight answers to the things people ask us most.

How does it actually work?
You pick how you want to watch. Silo: you sign in on the web or in the Silo apps with the username and password you chose at checkout. Plex makes you a guest on our Plex server, so our libraries appear in your own Plex app. Emby gives you an account on one of our Emby servers through an Emby Connect invite. The library behind all three is the same.
What can I watch it on?
Any web browser, with no install. Silo also has apps for iPhone and iPad, Apple TV, Mac, Android phones and tablets, Android TV and Google TV, and Fire TV. Plex and Emby run on practically every smart TV, streaming stick, phone and console through their own apps.
Can I share it with my family?
Yes. Every plan includes 2 streams at once, so two people can watch different things at the same time, and Silo gives each person their own profile (up to 5). If you need more people watching at once, add a stream for £2.50 a month each when you order; Silo goes up to 5.
What if something I want isn't there?
Request it. Silo has requests built into the app, and on Plex or Emby you ask our Discord bot. Requested titles get added to the library for everyone.
How does the free trial work?
Silo is free for 7 days; Plex and Emby for 24 hours. You add a payment method (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal) when you start, and the first £9.99 is taken automatically when the trial ends. Cancel from your dashboard before then and you pay nothing. One trial per customer: Silo has its own, and Plex and Emby share one.
How does billing work after that?
£9.99 a month, plus £2.50 for each extra stream you chose, taken automatically on the same day each month. No contract and no minimum term. You get an email for every payment.
How do I cancel?
Yourself, from your dashboard: click the service, choose Options, then Cancel this service. Billing stops straight away and you get a confirmation email. On a monthly plan your access ends when you cancel, so time it for the end of your month.
Do you refund?
No. That's why every plan starts with a free trial and there's no contract: try it, and if it isn't for you, cancel before the trial ends and nothing is charged. If we've made a mistake with a charge, contact us and we'll put it right.
Is my card safe?
Payments are handled by Stripe (and PayPal if you choose it). We never see or store your card number, and we will never ask for your password or card details by email or message.
Where are you, and how do I get help?
We're a UK team serving members worldwide through a lightning-fast global CDN. The fastest way to reach us is our Discord at discord.gg/plextreme, where the team and other members are. For account or billing questions, open a support ticket in Discord or email [email protected], and a real person answers.

Membership comes with a Discord, and it does the work

Open to everyone, before or after you join. It's where requests land, where answers come from and where you find out what to watch next.

Account or billing problem? Open a support ticket in Discord, or email us, and a real person handles it.

  • Request anything

Ask the request bot for a film or series and it gets added to the library, for you and everyone else.

  • The fastest way to get help

The team and other members are in the same rooms. Setup questions, device quirks, "is it just me?": ask there first.

  • What's worth watching

Members talk about what they're watching, the same titles you see in the trending rail above.
