What we collect

Your account: your email address and a password (stored scrambled, never readable by us). For Plex or Emby, the email of the account we invite. For Silo, the username you choose.

Payments: handled by Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you paid and when.

Discord: if you link your Discord account, we store your Discord user ID, name and avatar so we can give you your member role and answer your tickets.

Sign-ins and logs: the IP address you sign in from, and the normal logs our servers keep, including what is played on our media servers. We use these to stop fraud and abuse, enforce stream limits, fix playback problems and show you your own viewing history.

Cookies: a sign-in cookie, a small cookie that remembers which site sent you to us on your first visit (so we know which adverts and links work), and a referral cookie if you arrive through a member's referral link. Both of the last two last up to 30 days.

Why we use it

To run your account and services, take payments, send the emails about your account, answer support questions and keep the service safe. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third party advertising.

Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run Plextreme: Stripe and PayPal for payments, Discord if you link it, our email provider for sending account emails, and the companies that host our servers. Plex and Emby see the email of the account we invite.

How long we keep it

Your account and order history are kept while you have an account with us. Copies of the emails and Discord messages we send you are kept for a year. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Your choices

You can change your email and password from your dashboard, and unlink Discord there too. To see what we hold about you, or to have your account deleted, email [email protected].
