How do i sign in to silo?
Go to the Silo address from your welcome email or dashboard and sign in with the username and password you chose at checkout. Forgot it? Use Forgot password on the Silo sign in page.

On an Android phone or tablet, install Silo Media Player from Google Play. On Google TV and Android TV, look for it in the TV's app store first. If a TV does not offer it, or you have a Fire TV Stick, use Downloader as shown in the full guide.

Why does a 4K title say the HDR source needs video encoding?
This message means the title is 4K HDR and the screen you are watching on does not support HDR. That includes most 1080p TVs, and a Fire TV Stick plugged into one: the stick can only show HDR if the TV does. Normally Silo quietly plays the 1080p version of the title instead, so you never see this message. Very occasionally it does not switch on its own. If the title page offers a choice of versions, pick the 1080p one. If it still will not play, tell us the title and your device and we will fix it.
